How to Make a Statement in Your Foyer

Well, I can certainly relate to this personally as I eagerly wait for my mid century modern console to finish of my entryway!  

The foyer is the first space that your guests see as they enter your home.   This space needs to make a statement and reflect your personal style whether it's traditional, transitional, modern, or eclectic.  A large rug with great pattern can accent a beautiful console or buffet.  Wall art and mirrors can make a statements well as the entry space is usually on the smaller size.  And never forget about lighting. Hanging pendants or chandeliers and table lamps can put a huge emphasis on the entryway and give a welcoming feeling to your guests as they arrive.
